DJ NOW was founded by Wiremu Kapa (Will), also known as WIL.K – The Baddist.

With over two decades of experience across New Zealand and Australia, Wiremu has built his reputation performing in bars, clubs, weddings, and corporate events, including residencies in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Along the way, he earned multiple DJ titles and developed a strong ability to read diverse crowds and deliver consistently high-energy performances.

After returning to New Zealand, Wiremu recognised a gap in the market for a more professional, reliable DJ hire service, one that clients could trust to not only play music, but to manage the flow and energy of an entire event.

That vision became DJ NOW.

Today, DJ NOW delivers premium DJ services across Northland and Auckland, backed by a carefully selected team of experienced DJs who understand how to create the right atmosphere for every occasion. From weddings to corporate events, the focus remains the same, seamless execution, clear communication, and dance floors that stay full.

DJ Now is based in Whangārei and services all of Northland, including Kaitaia, Mangawhai, Waipu, Kerikeri, Paihia, and surrounding regions.
We also have DJs available in Auckland for weddings, private events, and corporate functions.
